About US 

Familiar Publishing was put together by two friends, both with a love and passion for gaming. One a forever gamer and the other a more recent convert. Conceived when they tried to find a publisher for one of their games, having only negative interactions, low ball offers and no option of ever holding the rights to their game. With this, they decided that the best way forward would be to self-publish, seek funding and to make the dream come true on their own back. 

After successfully funding and publishing their game, they realised that the Australian gaming community was without a service that helps to facilitate and harbour game designers and development. It is our firm belief that if you have a dream, you should chase it; that the more games out there, bringing people together and creating good times is imperative in developing a better world through friendship.  

With their lived experience and passion, they decided to start up a game publisher. Allowing countless Australian game designers an outlet or for their passions; facilitate a positive designer experience that doesn’t strip ownership of their designs.

It is our firm belief that if you have a dream, you should chase it; that the more games out there, bringing people together and creating good times is imperative in developing a better world.
